Terms of Service
Effective date: October 8, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Grail sold-comps API, website, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, obtaining an API key, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Grail provides programmatic access to structured eBay sold-listing data (“comps”) — including prices, sold dates, condition, and item metadata — plus computed aggregates such as price ranges. Data is provided for informational purposes.
2. Not affiliated with eBay
Grail is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay Inc. “eBay” and related marks are the property of their respective owners. You are responsible for complying with any third-party terms applicable to your use of the data.
3. Accounts and API keys
You must provide accurate account information and keep your API keys confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your keys. Notify us promptly at support@grail.solutions of any unauthorized use.
4. Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices and included request quotas are listed on our pricing page. Quotas reset monthly; unused quota does not roll over. You may cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the current billing period.
5. Refunds
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@grail.solutions within 30 days.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
- Do not attempt to circumvent authentication, quotas, or rate limits.
- Do not resell or redistribute the Service as a substantially similar sold-comps API.
- Do not reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the Service.
We may suspend keys that endanger the Service or other users.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability, but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or cached, and cached answers are labeled. We may modify or discontinue features with notice where practical.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grail is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
